How Many People Can Fit on a Horse-Drawn Wagon?

Up to 25 guests can fit in one wagon.

Are The Wagons Exclusive to Your Group?

The wagons are not exclusive to your group. The wagon can host up to 30 guests per ride. Private Carriage rides are available. For more information please email contact@desertfarmlights.com

Can Horse-Drawn Wagon Tickets Be Purchased In Person?

Horse-drawn wagon rides are subject to sell out. It is advised to buy tickets in advance. If tickets are sold out online they are also sold out in person.

There is not hay on the wagons.

Does the Horse-Drawn Wagon Ride Take The Same Path as The Desert Farm Lights Train?

No! The beloved Illuminated Orchard is BACK. Guests can ride a horse-drawn wagon through our orange tree orchard. The train ride is now a separate attraction — The Jolly Journey — and it’s included with admission. Horse-drawn wagon rides (up to 30 guests per wagon) are $15 per person for ages 3+. Private carriage rides through the orchard are also available. For private ride bookings, please email contact@desertfarmlight.com .

Does my 3 year old need a ticket?

Every guest aged 3+ must have a ticket to board the Horse-Drawn Wagon.

How Long is the Jolly Journey Train Ride

The Jolly Journey Train Ride from start to finish is about 12 minutes long.

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the gate. However, if tickets are sold out online, they are also sold out in person. It is strongly recommended to purchase tickets online before arriving.

Do children 2 and under need a ticket?

No, children 2 and under get free admission to Desert Farm Lights.

Are service animals allowed?

Only trained service dogs as defined under ADA Titles II and III are allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not permitted. Service animals must be under the control of the handler at all times. If a service dog is found to be misbehaving or not under control, the handler and the dog will be asked to leave without a refund.

Are military discounts available?

Yes, Desert Farm Lights offers a 10% discount to military personnel with ID and up to three dependents. These discounted tickets are available only at the door and can be purchased even on sold-out nights.
